Hard Subjects!
October 9, 2010 2 Comments
Recently i have been going over all my study notes and i am still finding some subjects very hard to understand. Usually it is subjects such as weather, regulations and certain areas of aerodynamics. Here is a list of subjects i dont understand.
High pressures and low pressures. What does this mean?
Angle of Attack.
Induced Drag and Parasite Drag.
The Turn Co-ordinator.
Different Airspaces.
Sectional Charts.
These subjects are the one’s i find very hard to understand. I have gone back and watched all my Sportys DVD’s atleats 3 times and i am still struggling to register these subjects. I have just over 9 weeks to prepare for my written FAA test and now i am starting to feel the pressure. I believe i can do this!
A few questions, Jordan.
. Are these the ONLY subjects you have left (the others are well understood)?
What specific aspects are you not following?
. What other resources are you using beyond the DVDs. I could never have passed with only the DVDs so hope you are using plenty of other resources on the web.
. Have you broken things down a bit. For example, “Sectional Charts” is a bit broad – I am sure you know what a sectional chart IS
I don’t just believe you can do this – I know you can. But at this stage it’s very important that you clearly lay out what you don’t know and have a plan for addressing these areas.
